The Government is Poised for a Media Take-Over

PREPARE FOR THE COMING MEDIA TAKE-OVER BY THE GOVERNMENT

There can be no doubt to anyone who’s watching that the government will soon expand itself into the free American media. Coming legislation and media bail-outs on the way cannot come without strings, as we’ll all soon witness.

As I’d written of on several occasions in the past 2 years, the free press and open media in America have been under attack for several years now. I wrote last October when the White house was on full attack against Fox News for several months:  The scene playing right out in front of you is almost like they made a reality show out of Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules For Radicals”, and they have it down TO THE LETTER. One of the main rules in this book is to gain TOTAL control of the media. ALL MEDIA.

It’s been obvious to me that the newspapers have been in the liberal tank completely for at least the past 8 years, and now the TV ‘news’ industry has most certainly gone the way of print.

The running problem here is that as the networks, newspapers, and magazines have fallen under the spell of the Obama administration, their sales and ratings have declined exponentially with their inability to remain the watchdog on government they were meant to be. Thus, the inevitable bail-outs for the likes of “The New York Times”, “Newsweek”, and MSNBC, NBC, CNN, et, al.

‘FAIR’ OR FREE RADIO AIRWAVES?

The “Fairness Doctrine” is anything BUT. This will effectively END one of the largest critics of this administration: the talk radio industry. Once again, under the guise of “fairness” or the moniker, “localism”, the majority of listeners would be forced to listen to something OTHER than what they tuned in for. As the government believes, the radio industry could never be ‘fair’ without government regulation simply by providing what people want to listen to for evil capitalist purposes. This creates the first form of fascism: “controlled speech”.

The results of a bail-out for the media industry is that there will be ZERO objectivity and zero accountability. This does not BEGIN to delve into the issues against government interference in the media clearly stated in the constitution. The last ‘safe’ haven: The internet. Or maybe NOT -

ENTER: THE NET-NEUTRALITY ACT

Enter “The Net Neutrality Act”. Before you know it happened, the internet may be completely regulated, moderated, and sanitized of anything resembling free speech. How will they pull THIS one off, you ask? There’s a great new piece of legislation by which EVERY American will have internet access. Sounds like just another costly liberal deficit-spending initiative, right? Wrong.

Hidden in this legislation is the language of complete censorship of anything that vaguely resembles this website. This is the death knell for the first amendment, and the very cornerstone of the remaining rights we have and the beginning of the END of freedom as we have so long taken it for granted.

Only when folks can no longer do what they once took for granted will it set in that something is terribly wrong. By this time, it will be far too late. Once the proverbial forbidden dictatorial apple has been bitten by this administration, there will be NO going back to our present freedoms of speech.

The lock-down will be in place, and only those who have the GUTS of our founding fathers will do what will be the only recourse of free men everywhere when this hammer falls putting the final nail in the coffin of our bill of rights and our Constitution under the guises of “diversity” and “fairness”.

This is ‘political correctness’ taken to its ultimate and final conclusion. In the vernacular of the obvious, this is the very definition of FASCISM. If all this sounds a bit EXTREME, when was the last time you heard a PRESIDENT or any of the staff of ANY administration call ANY media outlet out like this one has in the past year? NEVER.

They have called out Fox News, and they have called it “The ENEMY” – and in the words of ‘Rob (God) Emanual’, “Fox is NOT a credible news agency, not like CNN or CBS” . Now comes the part where they decide for you just what news is, and what isn’t.

I worked for a good number of years in the news media, and there’s an old axiom in the business that’s really reared it’s ugly head this past year: “It’s news when WE SAY it’s news.” The difference? This time it’s coming from the White House.

The last time I looked, it was radical Islam that was “The enemy”, NOT free speech! I’ve been warning of what’s to come for years now, mostly to deaf ears. When the government grew nearly 900% under G.W., I knew my worst fears would soon be realized. The democrats had been waiting, biding their time as the republicans grew government to monstrous proportions.

Now the beast is in the hands of those who will make the government something WE will have to answer to, instead of the other way around.  I’ve said it before: The tail is wagging the dog, and we will soon feel it’s bite, America. ~V
